PONY REGISTRATION ( 7 – 9 Yr Old) IS CLOSED. – MBB

EARLY registrations fees:  $60.00 (Dec to 2/3 @ 6pm)

NORMAL registration fees:  $70.00 (2/3 @6:01pm to 3/30 @6pm)

LATE registration fees:  $85.00 (3/30 @6:01pm to 5/31 @11:59:59pm)

Marion Boys Baseball consists of 4 Leagues:  PONY (7-9); Minor (10-12); Major (13-15); and Senior (16-18). Our league focuses on baseball fundamentals and is 100% made up of volunteers.  We appreciate our volunteer coaches.  The league provides the baseball equipment: Helmets, Bats, Balls, and Catching Gear. Players are welcome to bring their own gear.  MBB will provide the Jerseys and Hats, and the players are responsible for baseball pants, color coordinated socks/belts, baseball gloves, and baseball shoes. Games are held at the Starry Baseball Fields in Marion (off of Grand Ave) and some games for the Minor/Major will play at Lowe Park in Marion.

Practices usually begin during the first week of April (weather permitting).  Opening day is the first Saturday of May.  Game schedules consists of 12-14 games.  An end of year tournament is held in Mid-July.  Each team will have two practices a week in April and once the games start, there is 1 practice and 1 to 2 games per week.  The 2nd game is on Saturdays.  We play a total of 4 Saturdays spread out in May and June, plus the End of Year Tournament.  Game rainouts will always try to be made up depending on the remaining schedule.
